
Pam Swing is a Resident Scholar at the Brandeis Women’s Studies Research Center. She became interested in the suffrage movement through her grandmother, Betty Gram Swing, and is writing a book about how her grandmother became a suffragist. She has a Ph.D. in Anthropology and Folklore. She has an enduring fascination with how women navigate their lives.
Elizabeth (Lizy) Dabanka will graduate from Brandeis in 2020 with a triple major in Politics, African & African American Studies, and International Global Studies. She is an immigrant from Ghana and currently lives in Rhode Island. Lizy intends to work as a lawyer and aspires to sit on the highest courts in the US, or to run for political office.
